Based on reports from the National Educational Association there was a set of standards that were released in an effort to monitor and have an oversee of what is happening in the charter schools and to assure the moneys are being equally and properly appropriated. In recent years there has been confirmed and alleged abuse of funds.
- Pennsylvania; $30 Million proven and alleged fraud in charter school industry
- New York; An estimated $54 Million
- Illinois: An estimated $27.7 Million in 2014
- California: Taxpayers have paid an approximate $81 Million

DeleteAs always, money is never going where it is needed and that is truly sad. This is something people should be looking into.
